Freesia: Passion & Joy
It is the name of a flower. It is beautiful, white, simple and pure. I never knew and never very particular about the types of flowers and their names. But, when I was thinking about what to name the title of my blog I was thinking of the name of a flower. So,, I just google it and hope to find the best and beautiful and suitable names for my blog. I never know the existence of this flower. and luckily I google the names of flowers and their meaning. Passion and Joy. Two words that catch my eyes and my mind. Why I was so interested to name my blog after the name of this flower after knowing their meaning behind it? What so special about Passion and Joy?
Passion. It is a feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something or about doing something. It's been many many years since I've been thinking about writing and having my own blogs or books. But, my life is kinda so busy. I actually quite confuse and blurry about what I want to do in my life. I cannot relate to the word 'Passion' because I really don't have that in me right now. The eager feelings to do something. The excitement when I achieve or complete something. None of It! Every day I would question myself. Where do I go? What can I do? How to do this and that? What should I do and How? I never find the answer to all of these questions. Finally, I decided just to do it. I realize that the term passion is not the thing that comes to you naturally. It's not in your mind. But, you have to work for it. Do something and experience it. It will come. You will find it through the journey. and that's how I find my way to write this blog. Even if it just a small step. I still moving. I want you to do the same. Whoever reads this, I just want you to know that,, If you don't know what to do. Just do something. Anything. Don't think too much about it. You will find your way.
Joy. A feeling of the great pleasure of happiness. I wonder, what would make us human reach the level of joy. Have we ever experience it?. I guess yes but it just a temporary feeling. Because human nature wants more and more and more. At some point, we work so hard to achieve something but we didn't realize that the more we gets the eager we become to earn more and more. Did we enjoy the process?. Life will work that way. It is just temporary. A person that lucky enough to do his/her passionate job that he/her been dreaming about. Would they be happy in the first place? Of course yes!. But, the question is, how long will it last? The journey is not easy, there are so many obstacles along the road. So, the moment you felt joy, appreciate it. Because it is not a last long feeling. It is temporary and you got to do something to experience it. Everything in this world is not free nowadays. You want food? you have two choices. Either to cook or to buy the food. Both required action and value of money. Nothing comes free.
Simple yet it can be interpreted and explained in along deep conversation and discussion. I love to meet and to talk to people where I can actually discuss life and its meaning. It's kinda fun. So, from today onward I will just post and write anything about current issues, what has been on my mind and what's around me that I thought would be interesting if I share it here.
I'm sorry about my grammar and the way I write. I am not an expert writer and English is no my mother tongue language. I just enjoy writing and don't even bother about what kind of language I use (I am sorry If you are very particular about Bahasa or language). This is also one of the processes for me to improve my writing skills. Hope you enjoy! 😊
